Western Sculptures
Con Williams grew up on a working cattle ranch in British Columbia, Canada and competed in rodeo well into his adult life. Con brings his love and knowledge of the west and its inhabitants to you, expressed in the life and feeling of his bronze art.
From the bull on the fight, to the action and speed of the horses, to the free spirit of the kids, these bronze sculptures will bring the feel of the authentic west into your home or office.
Con rodeoed professionally, riding saddle broncs, team and calf roping and occasionally steer wrestling, until he turned his time and talents to full-time sculpting. He is an award winning member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Artist Association. His knowledge of the sport and the detail of the equipment and animals contribute to the life reflected in his bronzes. Con's rough-stock pieces are each inspired by a great ride on a great animal.
The Calgary Stampede is considered one of the premiere rodeos in the world. It has been dubbed “the greatest outdoor show on earth” and attracts more than one million visitors over its ten-day run in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Con has the honor of supplying Rodeo Trophy bronzes for six of the Calgary Stampede events during the years 2008-2018. He supplied Rodeo Trophy bronzes for two of the events during the years 2002-2007.
Wildlife Sculptures
Con Williams grew up on a working cattle ranch in British Columbia, Canada. He spent most of his time outdoors and learned to know and appreciate nature and wildlife. His favorite pastimes still include hunting and fishing. He has turned his love and knowledge of wildlife and horses into beautiful bronze art radiating life and feeling. We would like to bring this celebration of nature into your home or office.
