Rodeo Bronzes
Con
rodeoed professionally, riding saddle broncs, team and calf roping and
occasionally steer wrestling, until he turned his time and talents to
full-time sculpting. He is an award winning member of the
Professional Rodeo Cowboy Artist Association. His knowledge of
the sport and the detail of the equipment and animals contribute to
the life reflected in his bronzes. Con's rough-stock pieces
are each inspired by a great ride on a great animal.
The Calgary Stampede is considered one of the premiere rodeos in the
world. It has been dubbed “the greatest outdoor show on earth” and
attracts more than one million visitors over its ten-day run in
Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Con has the honor of supplying
Rodeo Trophy bronzes for six of the Calgary Stampede events during the years 2008-2013.
He supplied Rodeo Trophy bronzes for two of the events during the
years 2002-2007. |
